Snowtown Saigon - 24th of June 2024

Snowtown Saigon has a lot of amazing and fun activities for kids and adults. Ranging from Mini Golf to Sledding, this place truly is a wonder for a hot and humid place like Ho Chi Minh City!

When we first arrived, we had a pretty reasonable 160k VND per person for this fun filled snowy adventure. We changed into our boots and jackets, then had a great big snowball fight. We didn’t know that the snow was so hard and icy, so we practiced aiming at a poor 2D polar bear. We then, happily and excited, went sledding. We went up to the top of the hill and had pictures. When we went down, we had no idea that it would be that steep and fast. But even after me and Lucas had snow in our pants and boots, we loved it! The feeling of having snow in a hot and never-snowing place like Vietnam was trilling for us! We went again and again and again and again… well, you get the point. Then we had a snowball fight, this time for real! We then built a mini hill to sled and it actually was really fun! Lucas tried sledding one more time, but, hilariously, ripped his pants open! I laughed so much I nearly slipped onto the ice! We then went out, bought some new pants (doggy ones that say woof woof which I really liked) and got changed in the car.

This is probably the best experience of snow I ever had, being the 2nd time I experienced it (in London) What a happy experience! I wish I could go there one more time! Where I could laugh at his pants again …
